Sports writing, (EFE).- The rain interrupted the second semifinal of the Monte Carlo Masters 1,000 between the Italian Jannik Sinner and the Danish Holger Rune when 52 minutes of the match had elapsed.
At the time of the break, Sinner had scored the first set 6-1, but Rune had reacted and had the second set on track at 3-0.
The rain marks the penultimate day of the competition. The other semifinal that the Russian Andrey Rublev won over the American Taylor Fritz was stopped for almost two hours. Then it resumed and Rublev made it to the final by winning in three sets (5-7, 6-1 and 6-3).
