Barcelona (EFE).- Luis García has become the new coach of Espanyol until June 30, 2024, as reported by the Catalan entity this Monday, after passing through RSC Internacional CF, the future Real Madrid C.
The Asturian coach takes charge of the team after the dismissal of Diego Martínez, fired this Monday morning.
The objective of the coach is to change the dynamics of the block -which has chained four defeats- and achieve permanence in the First Division.
Luis García will lead his first training session this Tuesday at the Ciudad Deportiva Dani Jarque facilities. Afterwards, the coach will travel to the RCDE Stadium, where he will be presented at around 1:30 p.m.
