Vitoria (EFE).- The Ullibarri and Urrunaga reservoirs in Alava, which supply water to Bilbao and Vitoria, are at 71.3% and 68% of their capacity respectively.
It is 10 percent below its historical average, while the Añarbe dam in Gipuzkoa is better, at 85%.
These are data from the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation,
Ullibarri, the main reservoir of the Zadorra system, retained this Saturday 104.5 cubic hectometres of water, 71.3% of its total capacity.
His little brother, Urrunaga, half the size, accumulates 49 hectometres of water, 68% of its capacity.
The Álava reservoirs notice the lack of rain
The lack of rain in Álava has meant that the reservoirs are lower than usual, but even so the supply is guaranteed.
Last year Ullíbarri was at 78% at this time and its average for the last ten years this week is 79%.

In the case of Urrunaga, last year on these dates and its average in recent years is the same, 76%.
The reservoirs of Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, almost full
On the other hand, on the Cantabrian slope it has rained more, which is noticeable in the high level of Ordunte and Añarbe.
The Ordunte reservoir in Burgos, which supplies Bilbao directly and is smaller than the Álava reservoir, accumulates 21 hectometres and is at 95% of its capacity, practically full.
In Gipuzkoa, the largest dam, Añarbe, which supplies water to San Sebastián and several neighboring municipalities, contains 31.9 hectometres and is at 85% of its capacity. EFE
