Seville, Jul 22 (EFE).- Electoral Sunday will be hot in Andalusia, with more than 40 degrees in areas of the Guadalquivir, and with clear skies in general. Although there will be intervals of low clouds and mists on the Mediterranean coast and the Strait area, without ruling out mists.
The highest temperature will be recorded in the province of Córdoba, where a maximum of 41 degrees will be reached. Followed by Granada, with 40 degrees, and Jaén and Seville, with 39.
At the other extreme, Cádiz, where it will not exceed 29 degrees, while in Malaga a maximum of 30 degrees is expected. In Almería 33, and in Huelva 35.
The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) does not rule out an isolated storm in the mountains of the eastern interior. And a slight haze is likely in some parts of Andalusia.
Between the polling station and the beach
The winds will blow from the east on the Almería coast and the Strait. In the rest, variable light winds, tending to the west component on the Atlantic slope.
The day of the general elections will be a typical day for this time of year in Andalusia, with a warmer atmosphere in the early afternoon.
For many Andalusians, the heat will not be an impediment because they have already cast their vote at the Post Office and will spend election day on the beaches.
After the elections, the first days of next week the heat will let up, with maximum temperatures falling, except on the Mediterranean side. EFE
