Albacete (EFE).- The Vox candidate for the Presidency of the Government, Santiago Abascal, has proposed this Friday that voters who requested a vote by mail, but have not voted remotely, be included in the census for Sunday’s elections and can vote in person.
“The most important political right that we citizens have is the right to active suffrage, it is the right to vote, and if there are 10% of Spaniards who are going to see that right violated, I have to express my concern. I believe that exceptional decisions would have to be made, ”he told the media in Albacete.
Abascal has acknowledged, however, that he considers the “great mobilization and participation” that has been registered in the postal vote to be “good news”.
Abascal reviews of Feijoo
Asked about what his demands would be to accept an agreement with the PP, in the event that the results of 23J allow them to reach a majority, he has reiterated that he will require the popular to “respect” the votes that his party obtains in the elections.
Likewise, he has affirmed that he is with a “giant concern” by the fact that the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has not “withdrawn” the “pact” to the PSOE less than days before the elections.
“Today, to vote for the Popular Party and for Mr. Feijóo is to risk it, it is to carry out a risky operation, it is to play the lottery, it is not knowing what is going to happen and with whom they are going to agree after July 23,” he stressed.
