Valencia, (EFE).- The president of the PPCV and president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, stated this Thursday that the Valencian Community deserves to be able to look to the future with a central government “aligned” with this region and it is time for “change to also come to Spain with Feijóo as president”.
“The engine of the Community is running and Sunday’s victory is underway”, Mazón assured at the central campaign rally in Valencia with Alberto Núñez Feijóo, which was held at the Oceanogràfic and in which the head of the popular list for Congress for Valencia, Esteban González Pons, also intervened.
He defends that on Sunday “we play more than we imagined”
Mazón has defended that next Sunday “we are at stake much more than we imagined” since we are a few days away from “completing the change that Spain deserves, needs and cries out for”.
To make it possible, he has asserted, “in front we have the most Valencian president that you can have, who is Alberto Núñez Feijóo”, and he has resorted to a tongue twister: “The desanchizador that desanchizado, good Valencianizador will be”, and has assured that “that is Feijóo”.
The Valencian president has affirmed that the engine of the PPCV is at full capacity, with the start-up of the activity in the new popular governments in the main town halls of the Community, the councils and the Generalitat.
“It’s time for change”
“We have two days left to fill the ballot boxes. It is time for change, to de-encourage and Valencianize, to get going ”, he insisted, and has asserted that “there is a president of the government knocking on the door and another who only aspires to the blockade ”.
Alberto Núñez Feijóo, he added, is the one who “is going to lower our taxes, who is going to start up free education from the age of 0, who is going to start up financing, water and the Mediterranean corridor”, among other demands of the Valencian Community.
“Valencians are here to offer new glories to Spain. We deserve to be able to look to the future with a Spanish government aligned with the Valencian Community, with the policies that are being implemented in our town halls”, he added.
For his part, González Pons lamented that the Community “since 1992 has not received as great a humiliation as the transfer of -the departure and arrival of trains from- Atocha to Chamartín, where delays are constant”.
“Sanchismo consists of Sánchez traveling on the Falcon and the Valencians crowding into Chamartín,” he lamented.
González Pons has also referred to the level crossing with train barriers through the municipality of Alfafar, where a 19-year-old girl died last April, and whose removal is a historic demand of the residents.
The popular candidate has regretted that “el sanchismo” has abandoned this claim, while he has allocated 435 million euros to bury two level crossings in Catalonia, a budget that in his opinion could have been distributed and “reach everywhere and not always to the same place”.
“I ask you to vote for realism so that the passage of the train through Alfafar remains in the closet of oblivion, of the bad things that happened to us in sanchismo,” he asserted. EFE
