Madrid (EFE) sources from Ferraz, who assure that they continue to grow in support.
In Ferraz they maintain that Sánchez’s act last Saturday in Valencia was a turning point in the PSOE campaign, since since then they perceive “more mobilization” and “more desire” on the part of the militancy, and have registered “better numbers ”.
At present, according to the studies carried out by the party itself, the PSOE would be around 30% support for the general elections on July 23 (four points more compared to the start of the campaign), and the PP below 32 %.
The PSOE does not translate these results into seats due to the difficulty that the distribution represents, but insists that there is still a party, especially in certain electoral constituencies where they are fighting to increase the number of seats that the Socialists currently have in The deputies congress.
This is the case of Cantabria and Guipúzcoa, where Sánchez has recently starred in rallies, but also in Cuenca, Albacete or Málaga, while in León they assure that they are going to “defend 2-2 tooth and nail” to maintain the two seats they have currently against two others who could go to the PP.
The fight to maintain seats is intense in other constituencies such as Huesca, where Sánchez has already been campaigning, or Lugo, where he will travel this Thursday.
“We are fine, we continue to grow. For its part, the PP has choked on the week, it does not know how to lift it”, say sources from Ferraz, who criticize the “framework of lies” in which he assures that the opposition leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has installed himself.
For Ferraz, it is a mistake that Feijóo does not attend the debate this Wednesday on RTVE together with Sánchez and the leaders of Sumar, Yolanda Díaz, and of Vox, Santiago Abascal, since they maintain that he is leaving “prime time” to this the latter when the PP really has to seek votes “in the Vox fishing ground”.
And they assure that for Sánchez this debate will not pose any problem, nor with the leader of Sumar and current vice president of the Government, since both share management in the current coalition Executive and are “quite complementary.”
