Valencia (EFE).- The president of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón, has appointed this Wednesday the members of the new Valencian Government, made up of ten people -two fewer than the last Botanical Council and of which seven have been proposed by the PP and three for Vox- and characterized by being equal and by having “the best”.
This was stated by Mazón in an appearance at the Palau de la Generalitat in which he announced the list of the first PP-Vox coalition government, which will take office this afternoon and of whom he has stressed that they are people who know their sector , has “proven experience” and is prepared to work for everyone.
The new Consell will have two vice presidencies: the first, together with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, which will be held by the bullfighter Vicente Barrera (Vox), and the second, together with the Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing, in the hands of the former Secretary of State for Social Services and Equality, Susana Camarero, who will also be the Secretary of the Consell.
For the Ministry of Finance, Economy and Public Administration, he has chosen the former Citizens’ Trustee and current PP deputy Ruth Merino, who will also be the spokesperson for the Executive; in charge of Health will be Marciano Gómez; in Education José Antonio Rovira; in Environment, Water, Infrastructures and Territory (PP) Salomé Pradas, and in Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism Nuria Montes.
The other two portfolios that correspond to Vox are that of Justice and the Interior, which will be managed by Elisa Núñez, and that of Agriculture, which will be directed by José Luis Aguirre, while Mazón has announced that the four ministers who are currently regional deputies will leave their seats to focus in the Executive.
