Pamplona (EFE).- The State Meteorological Agency has activated the alert for high temperatures in the Foral Community this Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:59 p.m., which will be orange in the downtown area and Ribera and yellow in Pyrenees.
The highs will exceed 40 degrees today in the surroundings of Tudela and it is likely that new temperature ephemeris will occur.

During these episodes of high temperatures, the ISPLN recommends drinking more water and cool fluids even if you are not thirsty; carry out the activities of greater physical effort for work, sport or leisure in the hours of less heat; do not stay in the sun in the central hours of the day; and protect yourself from it with suitable clothing, glasses and creams with a protection factor; and dress in light, wide and light clothing.
In homes, cold showers or baths are recommended, getting wet, opening the windows when it cools down and closing them during the day, using a fan or air conditioning and, if this is not possible or insufficient, going to an air-conditioned place for a few hours.
It is also recommended to monitor the time spent inside parked vehicles, even if they are with the windows open, and especially when it comes to minors, the elderly or animals; or urgently call the health services if you have been exposed to extreme temperatures and symptoms such as high body temperature, dizziness, vomiting, confusion or loss of consciousness appear.
