Madrid (EFE).- Temperatures will again be significantly high today in areas of the southern half of the peninsula, the State Meteorological Agency has announced, which has also announced intervals of strong winds in Ampurdán and the Canary Islands.
The sky will be cloudy or with cloudy intervals throughout the extreme north of the peninsula, with the possibility of some weak precipitation, more likely in the Cantabrian Sea and the Pyrenees; and there will be some cloudy intervals also in other areas of the northern third of the peninsula, the Levante area and the Balearic Islands.
Slightly cloudy or clear in the rest of the peninsula, although with some cloudiness of daytime evolution in the interior of the eastern third, where a weak and isolated shower or storm cannot be ruled out, and in the Canary Islands, intervals of low clouds to the north of the islands, with probability of light rains in those of greater relief, and little cloudy in the south.
Daytime temperatures on the rise on the peninsular Atlantic slope, and on the decline in the Mediterranean area and the Canary Islands. Those at night are on the decline, except in the Mediterranean area, where they will remain with few changes.
North component wind in the northern third of the peninsula, with some strong intervals at dawn in Ampurdán; moderate west in the Strait; from the northeast in the Balearic Islands, and with some strong intervals in the Canary Islands; and of variable direction in the rest.
