This Friday the following communities will progressively activate the yellow alert for heat throughout the morning: Andalusia, Aragon, the Balearic Islands, both Castillas, Catalonia, Madrid, the Basque Country, La Rioja and the Valencian Community, according to data from the State Agency for Meteorology (Aemet) on its website.
On the other hand, Galicia and Asturias in the Cantabrian area, as well as the Canary Islands, the latter also due to wind and heat, will activate the maritime storm alert, which will affect the western Asturian coast and the Galician coast in A Mariña (Lugo) as well as to various Canary Islands.
Navarra will activate the orange alert for temperatures between 39 and 40 degrees in the central area and on the banks of the Ebro, while on the Cantabrian slope, at a yellow level, 36 degrees will be reached.
Likewise, the Canary Islands are on orange alert due to heat, wind and coastal phenomena, which will especially affect Gran Canaria, La Gomera, El Hierro and Tenerife; the maximum will be able to reach 37 degrees and will blow gusts of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
In Madrid, the yellow alert will affect the south, west and Las Vegas, with highs of 38 degrees.
These temperatures will also be around in areas of the interior of Andalusia, which is at a yellow level, especially the eastern area, where the provinces of Córdoba, Jaén, Granada and Seville will be affected.
In the Cordoba countryside, values of 39 degrees are expected and locally up to 40, and the same in the Guadalquivir valley, in Jaén. Likewise, the areas of Morena and Condado will be under notice in the latter province, and in the province of Granada, Guadix and Baza.
In other parts of the Andalusian region, such as the Sevillian countryside, it can reach 38 degrees, as in Jaén, in the capital, and also in Cazorla, according to Aemet predictions.
Likewise, the yellow alert will be activated in Aragon in the provinces of Zaragoza, the south of Huesca and also Teruel, where they can be reached between 39 and 40 degrees on time.
In Castilla y León, the north of Burgos will be on yellow alert, for maximums of up to 38 degrees, and in the Balearic Islands it will reach 36 degrees in the interior of the island of Mallorca.
The three Basque provinces will also be under a yellow warning in inland areas, with highs of 36 degrees and on the banks of the Ebro; in La Rioja it will reach 38 degrees.
In the Valencian Community, the yellow alert will be activated in the northern interior of Valencia due to maximum temperatures of 36 degrees, according to Aemet.
In Castilla-La Mancha, temperatures may rise to levels between 34 and 38 degrees in Albacete, Cuenca, Ciudad Real, Guadalajara and Toledo; The most suffocating areas will be the Tagus and Guadiana valley, with levels of 38 degrees and also La Mancha de Ciudad Real.
In Catalonia, Ampurdán (Girona) will be on alert for maximum temperatures of 36 degrees, according to Aemet.
