Santander (EFE).- Nissan has completed the ERTE at its Corrales de Buelna plant and has increased its production volumes, with the consolidation of new projects.
The management of Nissan Cantabria indicates in a press release that it has communicated to the workers’ representation the termination of the ERTE of the plant on July 14.
Thus, “the recovery of full employment in the plant” is achieved.
The ERTE was in operation since last August 2020 and will end tomorrow.
This Temporary Employment Regulation File ends before the scheduled date, thanks to the increase in its productive activity, according to the company.
The management explains that “after the consolidation of new projects” in the plant and the increase in production, “the favorable trend in achieving the milestones” of its business plan for this year continues.
The start-up of the new molding line and the investments made in technological modernization “are contributing positively to the consolidation of new clients and projects,” he points out.
The management of the Los Corrales plant “continues to bet on the new generations and young talents among its staff”.
In addition, it will soon launch an early retirement plan, in order to rejuvenate the workforce. EFE
