Toledo (EFE) PSOE in Ciudad Real, José Manuel Caballero and makes five more changes with respect to the Government of the 2019-2023 Legislature.
García-Page has signed this Sunday the decree with which he has appointed the new Executive, in which he maintains José Luis Martínez Guijarro as first vice president, as reported by the regional Administration in a press release.
The changes in the Government of Page occur in the Ministry of Equality, which also separates from the Spokesperson of the Executive; in Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development; in Education, Culture and Sports and in Sustainable Development.
The Government of Castilla-La Mancha complies with the following structure:
First Vice Presidency: José Luis Martínez Guijarro.

In this way, the advisers who have remained in the Government of Castilla-La Mancha since 2015 – when García-Page became President of the region – are Martínez Guijarro in the First Vice Presidency, Franco in Economy, Business and Employment; Ruiz Molina in Finance and Public Administrations; Fernández Sanz in Health and Hernando, who in the first Legislature was spokesman for the Executive and already in 2019 was Minister of Development.
Among the changes in the Page government, which this Saturday took office for the third consecutive time, is the incorporation of Caballero, who has been president of the Ciudad Real Provincial Council from 2015 until the municipal elections on May 28.
In his political career, in addition to being Secretary General of the PSOE of Ciudad Real since 2012, he has been Secretary of Organization of the PSOE of Castilla-La Mancha from 2008 to 2012 and was also spokesperson for the party at the regional level from 2000 to 2008.
The Spokesperson of the Board of the Ministry of Equality is separated
The new Equality Minister is Sara Simón Alcorlo, a native of Guadalajara, she is the local secretary of the PSOE in Guadalajara and has been second deputy mayor in the City Council of that city in the 2019-2023 term.
In addition, another of the changes in the García-Page government is the new spokesperson for the regional Executive, a position that falls to Esther Padilla, current PSOE deputy in Congress for Toledo.
In this way, Blanca Fernández, who has been spokesperson for the Executive and Minister of Equality from 2019 to 2023, leaves the regional government.
Another of the changes in the Government of Page occurs in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development, since Francisco Martínez Arroyo leaves, who had held the position since 2015, and will be in charge of this department Julián Martínez Lizán, regional deputy in the Cortes for the province of Albacete who also had government responsibilities in the Hellín City Council in previous mandates.
The Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports is another of the areas with changes, since Rosa Ana Rodríguez -counselor from 2019 to 2023- leaves and Amador Pastor, vice-councillor for Education in the previous Legislature, assumes the position.
And the head of the Ministry of Sustainable Development, created in 2019 with José Luis Escudero at the helm, also changes to place María Mercedes Gómez Rodríguez, general secretary of Sustainable Development in the last legislature and who, in previous terms, held the position of Minister of Agriculture and Minister of the Environment and also that of President of the Tagus Hydrographic Confederation.
