Bilbao (EFE).- Florence and The Machine has headlined the first day of the Bilbao BBK Live festival with a performance in which its singer Florence Welch has displayed overwhelming energy on stage and has filled the souls of thousands of people with joy gathered in the compound.
The main stage has had a female role, since in addition to Florence and The Machine, Amaia from Navarra and the young Danish singer-songwriter Emma Grankvist, known as “eee gee”, have had the honor of opening the festival on that stage. .
However, the star of the day has been Florence Welch, who already went through the festival in 2018 and has returned with a performance that has dazzled the public thanks to her fascinating voice and the enthusiasm and energy that she has displayed on stage and that has infected the public in each of his songs.
Florence and The Machine has not given a break and, from the beginning, has offered an intense and enjoyable concert in which their latest album “Dance fever” has had a prominent weight in the first part of the performance, with songs like ” Heaven is here”, “King” or “Free”.

With another song from that album, “Dream girl evil”, and after surprising with “Queen of peace”, Florence Welch has left the stage to sing, together with the public and in perfect communion, that song, as well as “Prayer factory”. , also from the group’s latest work, and “Big God”.
The intensity has not stopped increasing with songs like “Hunger”, “You got the love”, a rock and roll “Kiss with a fist”, the galactic “Dog days are over”, cheered from the first notes and with which he has put to jump to every living being, or “Cosmic love”, in which he has asked that the lights of the mobile phones be turned on.

Just before the day’s headliners, the project by Frenchman Anthony González, who has returned to the festival after his performance in 2016 with a recent work on the market entitled “Fantasy”, performed on the festival’s second stage, M83. , his ninth studio album.
M83 has brought together a large audience that has enjoyed songs like “Oceans Niagara” and “We own the sky” despite the heavy downpour that came during their concert that has not dampened the performance or the desire to enjoy Bilbao BBK Live.
The Danish “eee gee” has opened the performances on the main stage before a small audience that has pleased with songs like “Forever dreaming”, “Favorite lover” or “Killing it” when many of the attendees had not yet managed to reach the camping area.
