Cartagena, Jul 7 (EFE).- The Murcian parliament has rejected this Friday the investiture of the PP candidate, Fernando López Miras, as president of the Autonomous Community with 24 negative votes, when Vox made its announcement of a vote against effective.
Specifically, after the live voice roll call vote of the 45 deputies that make up the chamber, López Miras has only had the support of the 21 votes of the Popular Party, two votes less than the necessary (23) for an absolute majority.
The thirteen deputies from the PSOE, the nine from Vox and the two from Podemos have said no to the investiture of Fernando López Miras, who will have to face a new vote next Monday, July 10, in which he will only need a simple majority to be elected, something possible if Vox finally decided to abstain.
