Formentera, Jul 1 (EFE).- A waste of creativity and high quality through its creations of clothing, jewelry and footwear, made in a sustainable, artisanal way and, for the most part, as unique pieces, is what has been seen this Friday night on the Formentera Fashion Show, organized by the Island Council under the motto ‘Tonalitats’, in front of the collections of twenty designers from the smallest of the Balearic Islands, famous for its fine beaches white sand and hippie essence.
The Plaza Europa in es Pujols has been the setting chosen for the parade that has had diversity and inclusion as its inspiration and message, since it has also been led by young people, diversely skilled boys and girls from the Diver Gent association, which They have paraded together with the models from the Pitiusa agency Deva Models.
The audience, which has far exceeded the 600 chairs installed for the event, have been able to appreciate the sensual bikinis from Hippie Shop Formentera, which have opened the parade and have given way to the colorful designs created with bandanas and patchwork techniques. by El Ikigai Design, and the soft lace and elastic tulle bows of the underwear by Marziposa Lingerie, whose collection has been inspired this year by burlesque art.
The “Movimiento” collection, of Atzavara’s knitted dresses, has been followed by dresses created with recycled textiles, such as tablecloths, napkins or curtains, and inspired by Adlib fashion and old household clothes, by the firm Coser and sing; the designs of silks and natural fabrics with hand prints from the “Terra” collection, by the firm Pahiesa; and the delicate and soft cotton textures and genuine prints of the Kavra Formentera dresses and tunics.
Halfway through the parade, the kimonos and natural silk dresses printed with flowers and leaves from the island by Simona Colzi were on display; the dresses, this year with lace and patchwork pieces by Molly Mallone, combined with handmade espadrilles by Es Pelegrí.

The dresses from the “Mirada” collection by Eva Cardona, full of colours, light and movement, and the fresh, colorful garments made from organic fabrics by Laura López and Gingko Creations, brought together in their “Mevak” collection, have closed the fashion show. clothing and footwear, to give way to jewelry.
