Kiev (EFE).- The Ukrainian authorities have launched simulation exercises of the reaction to a radiation leak in three provinces close to the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant, occupied by Russia, given the risk of Russian sabotage at the plant, denounced by Kiev.
“We are working on all possible scenarios, for example, that the radioactive cloud goes further, to any region of our country,” said Interior Minister Igor Klimenko.
The exercises take place in the Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts and include vehicle radioactivity measurements and population evacuation measures.

In addition, more than 350 special vehicles and 400 buses to evacuate the population have been mobilized in these maneuvers.
The Ukrainian presidency, military intelligence and government have warned that Russia would be preparing a “terrorist act” at the Zaporizhia plant that would consist of causing a radiation leak.
kyiv has denounced that Russia has planted mines in the plant’s reactors.
New Russian air strikes
Precisely, the region of Zaporizhia, in the southeast of Ukraine, has been the target this morning of a Russian missile attack.
As reported today by the Ukrainian Air Force in a statement, Russia launched four S-300 guided anti-aircraft missiles against military and other infrastructures, which did not cause casualties.
Ukrainian air defenses shot down 10 of the 13 Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones launched by Russia last night.
