Madrid (EFE).- The deficit of the Public Administrations as a whole (without local corporations) fell by 52% in the first four months of the year compared to the year-on-year, and stood at 4,282 million euros, equivalent to 0.30 % of GDP.
According to the budget execution data published this Friday by the Ministry of Finance, the autonomous communities doubled their deficit, up to 3,376 million, equivalent to 0.24% of GDP; while the Central Administration reduced it to almost zero, up to 23 million, which represents 0.02% of GDP.
The Social Security Funds registered a deficit of 0.06% of GDP (883 million), compared to the deficit of 0.12% of GDP registered a year earlier.
