Burriana (Castellón) (EFE).- The man armed with a shotgun who has remained entrenched in his home in Burriana (Castellón) has been found dead by members of the Reserve and Security Group (GRS) of the Civil Guard who have finally accessed the house.
This has been reported to EFE by sources from this body, who have indicated that the man, who remained entrenched in his home on Islas Baleares street since shortly before 3:00 p.m., has committed suicide.
The woman has notified 112
Sources of the investigation have indicated to EFE that it was the entrenched woman who called the 112 Emergency telephone number, in what appears to be a case of gender violence, to warn that her husband was armed with a shotgun.
When the Civil Guard arrived, the woman, children and pets left the home and, according to sources, after the armed man was left alone, two shots were heard inside the house and, later, the home was cordoned off.
From that moment, the Civil Guard tried to negotiate his delivery but, once they had access to the interior of the home, they verified that he had died.
