As reported by the Meteorological Agency (Aemet) on its website, Andalusia will activate the orange level in the provinces of Córdoba, Seville and Jaén for values between 40 and 42 degrees in points of the Sevillian and Cordovan countryside and in the Guadalquivir valley of Jaen.
Aemet points out that the notice will be extended in a time slot between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. peninsular time.
Extremadura continues with an orange warning in the province of Badajoz for daytime values of up to 40 degrees in areas of Las Vegas del Guadiana, between 1:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. In Cáceres the alert is yellow for maximums between 37/38 degrees.
Highs of 37 degrees in the Canary Islands
The Canary Islands archipelago has activated the orange alert on the islands of Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura due to maximum temperatures of 37 degrees, especially in midlands and inland areas, while on the coasts it will only affect locally; In Lanzarote, La Gomera, La Palma, El Hierro and Tenerife there is a yellow warning for values between 34-36 degrees.
In the communities of Aragon, both Castillas, Catalonia and the Community of Madrid, the yellow level (risk) persists due to storms, rain or heat, with maximums between 34 and 39 degrees.

Likewise, it warns that with the orange alert there is a significant risk in unusual meteorological phenomena and with a certain degree of danger for usual activities.
