Eivissa (EFE).- The Ibiza National Police has arrested a man for fraud after refusing to pay the dinner bill that amounted to 1,300 euros.
The events occurred last Wednesday in a restaurant in Ibiza when a client, after dinner, refused to pay the bill, the National Police reported this Monday in a note.
The dinner consisted of lobster and bottles of champagne, they have specified from the National Police.
When going to the restaurant, the employees told the agents that the alleged perpetrator tried to pay on several occasions with his mobile phone, but the charge was rejected.
The alleged fraudster assured that he had money, but that he refused to pay the hasty amount, without giving further explanations, and among his belongings he had several bank cards with which he refused to pay.
For all this, the agents arrested him for an alleged crime of fraud.
