Madrid, June 24 (EFE).- Hours after the broadcast of the last “Sálvame” program on Telecinco, Netflix has announced a new “docu-reality” starring eight of its collaborators: Belén Esteban, Terelu Campos, Kiko Matamoros, Lydia Lozano, Chelo García Cortés, Víctor Sandoval, Kiko Hernández and María Patiño.
Produced by La Fábrica de la Tele for Netflix, the program “will follow the journey of these eight television icons, in which they will cross the pond to visit other television sets and meet with the main entertainment agents and producers in America” , indicates the platform in a statement.
The recording of the program, which still has no confirmed title, will begin “soon” and will last for several weeks in different territories between Spain, the United States and Latin America.

Óscar Cornejo and Adrián Madrid, from La Fábrica de la Tele, have pointed out that “Sálvame has made millions of people happy for 14 years” and that “this universe of unique characters, this factory of dreams and fantasy, that Pressing Catch of Emotions fly to Netflix starting today.
“For us there is no better possible partner for this new beginning towards a land full of opportunities”, they added.
After 14 years of broadcasting and with screen shares that have fluctuated between 14 and 20 percent, “Sálvame” closed yesterday, Friday, a long stage of success based on fabricated controversies and outbursts that have marked an era of entertainment in Spain.
