Toledo (EFE).- The president elect of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, will take office on July 8.
Regional government sources have informed EFE that this is the scheduled date for García-Page’s third inauguration, after the Castilla-La Mancha PSOE won the regional elections by an absolute majority on May 28.
Likewise, and after the constitutive session of the XI Legislature was held this Thursday in the regional courts, the investiture debate for García-Page is expected to be held in the chamber on July 5 and 6.
Page predicts mobilization for pacts PP-Vox
García-Page has predicted that the agreements reached between the PP and Vox will mobilize the electorate in the next general elections on July 23.
This has been expressed in statements to the press before the start of the constitutive session of the XI Legislature.
The head of the regional Executive has considered that the pacts between PP and Vox will have “electoral consequences”, an issue that in his opinion could be “the key” to the campaign.
“This dance can disconcert many but it can make many others react. Be careful, maybe this is the key to the campaign”, he predicted.EFE
