Madrid/Bogotá (EFE).- The DJ, producer and composer Bizarrap released a new song this Wednesday, this time in the company of another important figure in the Latin world such as the Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, who in turn serves as a framework for the presentation of his first collaboration with a well-known Spanish clothing brand.
Hours earlier, from Madrid, the Argentine anticipated this new musical session, number 56 in his repertoire, which takes over just 20 days after the one he recorded with the Mexican Featherweight, which he released in March with the American rapper Arcángel and, above all, the one that in January led him to star in numerous headlines for Shakira’s defense in his lyrics against his ex-partner, the soccer player Gerard Piqué.
The new theme, which was published simultaneously around the world at 00:00 GMT on Thursday, includes in its lyrics phrases such as: “We can fuck and let the hours go by, and in the morning there doesn’t have to be a wedding” and “What to sleep for alone, if you are alone”, and the video includes the characteristic camera movements and colors of the Bizarrap sessions, and even Rauw Alejandro is sometimes shown with a helmet that projects his singing face.
In parallel with its launch, Bizarrap has presented the fruit of its alliance with the firm Bershka, from the Inditex group -with more than 1,000 stores in more than 70 markets-, to launch a series of garments in which the aesthetic codes of its universe are imposed in a “genderless” collection -without gender- of sports silhouettes and colored in black and white.
A series of garments in which the graphic motifs that refer to its characteristic compositions and the environment that surrounds it are not overlooked. On the garments the composer’s own name appears, BZRP, worked with different fonts and materials, as well as illustrations of the protagonist simulating his silhouette with his characteristic cap and glasses.
Especially striking has been the way of communicating this collaboration through the artist’s social networks. In a video that accumulates more than 11 million views on Twitter, you can see how the customers of a store in the center of Madrid of the brand react spontaneously to being surprised by their idol in a special fitting room and there they are the first to listen to the new song with Rauw Alejandro.
Born Gonzalo Julián Conde, the phenomenon of Bizarrap first established himself among the younger public thanks to the success of his collaborations with artists such as Villano Antillano, Tiago PZK or, above all, session number 52 with the Spanish Quevedo, who currently exceeds 1.3 million views on Spotify and was number 1 worldwide for seven weeks.
Some of these works earned him become the most listened to Argentine artist in the world in 2020 and that in 2021 he accumulated four Latin Grammy nominations under the category of “Producer of the Year” and “Best New Artist”.
