Madrid (EFE).- Real Madrid announced this Wednesday the agreement reached with the German Toni Kroos to extend his contract, so that the midfielder will remain linked to the club until June 30, 2024.
Toni Kroos (Greifswal, 1990) joined Real Madrid in July 2014, from Bayern Munich and shortly after being proclaimed world champion with Germany in Brazil, during Italian Carlo Ancelotti’s first spell as the club’s coach.
Kroos, who had a contract with the white club until the end of this month, is already the German player who has defended the Real Madrid shirt the most times with a total of 417 games.
In his nine seasons in the Real Madrid squad, the midfielder has won 20 titles: 4 Champions Leagues, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups.
