Enrique Bermúdez I Sevilla, (EFE).- The Andalusian Government celebrates one year this Monday since the historic absolute majority of Juanma Moreno for the PP, and it does so with its gaze set once again on elections, the general ones, after a new endorsement obtained last 28M in the municipal ones, and in the middle of a great controversy with Pedro Sánchez for Doñana.
The first anniversary of Moreno with a monocolor government of the PP -after the previous coalition with Cs- comes involved in an important confrontation with the central government due to the new regulation of irrigated land in the area of Doñana. That they promote the party of him and Vox in Parliament through a bill.
This issue has raised the tone of the confrontation between administrations. A breeding ground that had already been brewing for several years and that has finished exploding in the middle of the electoral period. With the National Park again at the epicenter.
The controversy over Doñana and the cultivation of strawberries in its surroundings does not make a dent in Moreno’s results. That continues with a victorious electoral cycle, with a historic turnaround also at the local level.
Six new laws in Parliament
In addition to the good forecasts for the PP in the general elections, Moreno has just received the second electoral endorsement in a year. In the local elections in May, which have allowed him to govern the eight Andalusian capitals. And the rest of the largest cities in the community, except Dos Hermanas. In addition, it is foreseeable that they will be in charge of six out of eight councils, including that of Huelva for the first time.
In this year of government, six new laws have been approved in Parliament. Among which the Circular Economy Law stands out, one of the star regulations of the Andalusian Government. The Early Attention, the Public Function Law or the Flamenco Law, in addition to others that are in process.
The Governing Council has approved thirteen decree laws. The tax cut has continued (the sixth since 2019) and the Social Pact for the Economic Boost of Andalusia has been signed. That the president signed with the unions and employers.
Moreno has had to face criticism this year from the opposition for the order to charge concerts in health. Which included Primary Care for the first time, which led to mobilizations and protests by unions.
Three decrees of drought
However, a week before the municipal ones, that chapter of protests closed with the proposal of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) to eliminate Primary Care from that order. That led to the agreement between the Board and the majority of the unions.
In the Andalusian Chamber, the investigation commission on payment in brothels with cards of the Andalusian Foundation Training and Employment Fund (FAFFE) has also returned for the third time, at the initiative of the PP and with the support of Vox. In which they intend to quote, among others, the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, predictably in the middle of the pre-election period.
The problem of drought has focused a large part of the agenda, with the approval of the SOS Plan, endowed with 4,000 million until 2027. In addition, in April the regional government gave its approval to the third drought decree.
With regard to the directors, Moreno maintains his team, with the exception of Marifrán Carazo, who left the Ministry of Development (Rocío Díaz replaced him) to run in the municipal elections in the capital of Granada, where he has obtained an absolute majority. .
The Government boasts of “management” and “stability”
The Andalusian Government underlines the year “intense, of management and more management” and boasts of a “climate of stability” so that the community “grows, advances, is seen and heard”, according to EFE told Executive spokesman, Ramón Fernández-Pacheco.
The spokesman has highlighted the “extensive parliamentary activity” during the year and has guaranteed that in the second year of the legislature they will continue “working hard” to complete the process of the initiatives in the pipeline.
The regional government understands that all this “powers” the Andalusian feeling because the community is improving its own “awareness” of its image. EFE
