Valladolid (EFE).- The new mayor of Valladolid, Jesús Julio Carnero (PP), and his number two in the Consistory, Irene Carvajal (Vox), have presented on Monday the main agreements that make up the legislature pact between both formations in the city council.
These are the ten keys to the agreement:
- A known ratio: PP and Vox have agreed to emulate the proportion of government already used in the Junta de Castilla y León, with ten areas, of which the PP will hold seven and Vox, three.
- From a parity government between women and men to a majority of men: the City Council will go from an equal proportion between men and women in the area councils to a government of seven men and three women.
- The Department of Equality disappearswhich assumes Social Services (PP) and without a trace of the “Women’s support office” that the PP had in the campaign.
- The Seminci and the Goya gala 2023 will not depend on Vox: The Valladolid International Film Week (Seminci) and next year’s Goya gala, which is held in the city, will not depend on the Department of Culture, in the hands of Vox, but on Tourism and Events , which will lead the popular.
- First decision: repealed the mobility ordinance.
- Short-medium term bets: from support to bullfighting schools and large families going through a drop in the IBI and policies against ‘squatting’.
- Ram will be in front of the ‘Table for the burial “until you get to make it a reality.”
- Ram announces that will give up his salary as mayor, of about 85,000 euros according to the latest data from the Treasury, if he is elected as a senator this 23J.
- The number 2 of the PP, Mercedes Cantalapiedra -now a PP candidate for Congress-, is left without responsibility in the Government and “sacrifices” herself, according to Carnero.
- Youth Finally, it will not have its own department, but a “special delegation”.
