Zaragoza (EFE).- The president of CHA, Joaquín Palacín, has confirmed his vote against his formation for the investiture of the PP candidate for the Presidency of Aragon, Jorge Azcón. In the round of contacts with the groups, he has warned her that he will make a constructive opposition.
A no that was to be expected, Azcón admitted after the meeting, which lasted around a quarter of an hour, which he described as “cordial” and which he expressly thanked, as well as the collaboration shown by the acting counselor of Vertebration of the Territory of CHA, José Luis Soro.
In any case, although CHA positions itself “clearly in the opposition”, Azcón has shown its willingness to build “bridges” on those issues in which a meeting is possible.
In addition, he has referred to the negotiations with other formations for the formation of the town halls this Saturday, without specifying agreements because they are still open in many municipalities with various parties and “even the tail everything is bull.” The objective, he has stressed, is for the greatest possible number of mayors to be from the PP or, if that is not possible, to be decisive and be on the government teams.
Concern about the PP-Vox pacts
Subsequently, Palacín confirmed CHA’s no to the foreseeable investiture of Azcón and that his parliamentary group will take a “constructive” position, in defense of social rights and public services, self-government, new regional financing and the territory.
In addition, he has conveyed his concern about the government agreements reached by PP and Vox, specifically that of the Valencian Community and the commitment to projects that would be “very harmful for Aragon, such as the transfer.” But also on other initiatives that “sure” do not share, such as the union of ski resorts by Canal Roya.
Regarding the pacts for governance in the town halls that can give CHA mayorships, Palacín stressed that this Friday the talks will continue in some consistories and the result will be seen in the next few hours, as in Boltaña, although he has advanced that they are closed in Longares and La Muela.
