Madrid (EFE).- Renfe has put tickets on sale so that young people from Spain or from any other European Union country residing in Spain and between the ages of 18 and 30, both inclusive, can travel from today on Europe with Interrail, with a 50% discount on the official rate.
This 50% discount is applied to the Interrail Global Flexible pass, which allows you to travel 10 days over two months to all program destinations, as explained by Renfe.
This reduction, approved by the Government, is applied to the official Interrail rates, with its price characteristics according to age.
50 years of interrail existence
The Interrail, with more than 50 years of existence, is a personal and non-transferable pass that can be purchased and used by people legally residing in Europe and that allows travel by train in 33 European countries or by boat (between Italy and Greece).
In addition to the Interrail discounts, the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda also published on June 1 the resolutions that set the conditions for the sale and use of discounted tickets so that young people between 18 and 30 can travel by train this summer in Spain, from June 15 to September 15.
These discounts are 50% on AVE, Avlo, Alvia, Intercity and Euromed trains, with a maximum discount of 30 euros per ticket; 50% for single Avant tickets, and 90% for the rest of medium-distance or metric-width network services.
