Kiev (EFE).- The Ukrainian president, Volodímir Zelenski, has denounced in his last speech to the nation that one of the missiles used by Russia in the attack that on Tuesday killed 12 people in the Ukrainian city of Krivi Rig contained components manufactured in countries allied with Ukraine.
“If we take, for example, one of the missiles that Krivi Rig hit, about fifty of its components, especially microelectronics, were manufactured in other countries,” said Zelenski, who pointed out that some of the companies that supply these components to Russia are from partner countries of Ukraine.

For his part, Zelenski’s chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, denounced this Wednesday that in the four cruise missiles launched last night against Odesa there were “no less than 40 components” manufactured abroad.
“Without (imported) microelectronics, Russia could not build” these missiles, Yermak wrote along with photos of some of the devastation caused.
Zelensky regretted that Russia continues to have access to this type of fundamental pieces for its war industry despite international sanctions that should make it impossible.
The Ukrainian president said that senior Kiev government officials met on Tuesday with diplomats from the countries from which those components found in the missile launched against Krivi Rig came, to ask them for measures that cut off the flow of these parts to Russia.
“All the allies have a list of companies that supply Russia with components to kill,” said Zelenski, who called for export controls to be tightened as much as possible, to prevent Moscow from continuing to produce missiles “to destroy in Ukraine.” .
Zelensky stressed that “it is much cheaper to cut off terrorists’ supplies of terror components once and for all, than to constantly spend more money on new air defenses” like the ones the West sends to Ukraine to protect its infrastructure and its population. of air raids.
