Starting today, political parties, electoral coalitions and groups of voters can register the lists of their candidates for Congress and the Senate in each constituency.
The candidacies submitted will be published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) for next Wednesday, June 21, and, after a period for correcting irregularities, the finally proclaimed candidacies will be published in the BOE on Tuesday 27, when the deadline expires. twenty-eighth day from the electoral call, according to the law.
In order to present candidacies, the parties that have had parliamentary representation in the last legislature do not need the requirement to present signatures, but non-parliamentarians have to present the signatures of 0.1% of the voters registered in the constituency census.
Voter groups need 1% of those registered in the census to sign their candidacy, and each voter can endorse only one electoral list.
