Madrid (EFE).- The sale of homes fell by 8.1% in April compared to the same month of 2022, and reached 43,311 operations, the lowest figure in two years, after adding three months of declines, according to the data provided this Monday by the National Statistics Institute (INE).
The INE data show that the sale of used housing fell by 9% in April, the largest decrease in the interannual rate since January 2021; New home sales fell by 4.2%, and have fallen in seven of the last eight months.
In the month of April, 158,936 farms were registered in the property records, 8.5% less than in the same month of the previous year.
