An empty freight train derailed at night in a district of Russia’s Belgorod region, bordering Ukraine, with no casualties, the province’s governor Viacheslav Gladkov said today.
“At night an emergency occurred in the Alekseevsky district. Derailed 15 rail cars. They were empty. There were no victims among the workers of the railway company or among the residents, ”he wrote on his Telegram channel.

Last May another train with a dozen wagons derailed in the Russian region of Briansk, also bordering Ukraine, due to a device that exploded on the tracks.
