Barcelona (EFE).- Former mayor Xavier Trias, who leads the Junts candidacy in Barcelona, prevails in the municipal elections in the Catalan capital, with 11 councillors, one more than Jaume Collboni’s PSC, which remains with ten, with 86% of the votes counted.
Trias leads Collboni with more than 7,000 votes and prevails in the Barcelona municipal elections, in which BComú de Ada Colau is in third place, with 9 councillors.
Behind these three forces is Ernest Maragall, from ERC, with 5; the PP, with 4 and VOX, which would enter the Barcelona consistory, with 2 representatives.
With this percentage scrutinized, Ciudadanos (Cs), which had 3 councillors, and Valents, which had 2, are left out of the City Council.
In 2019 ERC won in votes and added 10 councilors, Barcelona En Comú also achieved 10 representatives, the PSC obtained 8; Manuel Valls’s alliance with Ciudadanos added 6 councilors; Junts achieved 5 and the PP two councilors.
