Madrid (EFE).- Netflix is the platform with the highest percentage of the population with access (52.6%), despite the loss of one million users in Spain after the end of shared accounts and the downward trend that is observed in the last balance of the OTT carried out by Barlovento.
That is what the study of OTT platforms in Spain that the consultant has prepared in terms of the percentage of access of the population over 18 years of age and based on 3,100 surveys carried out between April 5 and 16 reveals.
81.2% of the population has access to some OTT compared to 18.8% who do not, according to the study in which Netflix registers its lowest value of the eight studies carried out by the consultancy (the maximum was registered in the last quarter of 2021 with 60%).
Close behind is PrimeVideo, which accounts for 49.3%, also the lowest percentage of published waves.
These are the percentages reached by the rest of OTT:
Disney+, with 28%, shows a growing trend in the last three waves and signs its best data. HBO MAX obtains 26.4% of the population with access, a slightly lower value than the previous study when it reached its maximum.
Movistar Lite shows a slight loss for the fourth consecutive wave and signs its lowest data with 18.2% access to the total population.
Vodafone, with 8.3%, is down six tenths compared to the previous wave.
DAZN, with 11.6%, is the OTT that shows the greatest growth with an increase of almost three points, the best figure of all the television barometers of platforms that broadcast content over the Internet carried out by the consultancy.
Orange TV: 5.6% of the population has access to this platform, which loses three tenths, although it achieves the same data as in the first quarter of 2022.
Atresplayer grows 1.7 points and reaches a figure of 4.8%.
Filmin: 3.8% of the population has access to the platform, but it drops 1.1 points compared to the previous study.
Apple TV, with 3.3% shows regularity in the last four waves.
Yoigo reaches its maximum with 1.9%.
Euskaltel, with 1.3%, maintains a very stable evolution.
R loses one tenth and registers 0.8%. Telecable improves half a point and reaches 1.3%.
Discovery+ with 1.3% shows a downward trend in the last four waves.
MiTelePlus achieves 2.3% and grows one point.
Rakuten decreased 1.2 points and stood at 2.2% in percentage of the population with access.
Tivify repeats the result with 0.8%.
FlixOlé fell one tenth and registered 0.7%.
Lionsgate+ (the old Starzplay that changed its name in this 2023 wave) fell three tenths and signed 0.6%.
Barça TV+ drops to 0.6%, its minimum value of the four waves available.
FuboTV rises one tenth and registers 0.4%.
Acontra+, with 0.2%, rises one tenth.
Cineclick remains at 0.1%, the same value as the two previous waves.
SkyShowtime in its first wave registers 4.7%.
