Berlin (EFE).- Two people have died in a shooting that occurred this morning at a plant of the Mercedes-Benz automobile consortium in Sindelfingen, in southern Germany.
The Ludwigsburg district police initially reported a deceased person through their Twitter account, but later reported the death of a person at the hospital where they had been admitted.
The two fatalities are men. No injuries appear to have been reported.
A call
The alleged attacker has been arrested, but details about his identity or possible motivations have not yet been disclosed.
Police sources already reported early in the morning that a strong security device had been deployed throughout the compound, although the situation was not dangerous for the population.
The operation began when a warning call was received early in the morning reporting the shooting, after which the entire compound was cordoned off and assistance services and ambulances, including two helicopters, moved to the scene.
