Pamplona (EFE).- A man died this afternoon in the Rochapea neighborhood of Pamplona due to injuries inflicted with a knife allegedly by his partner, who was arrested shortly after.
As sources from the Pamplona Municipal Police have confirmed to EFE, the event took place at around 2:30 p.m. at Portal 6 of Calle Bernardino Tirapu, in one of whose homes the woman resides.
At that time the Municipal Police have been notified that there was a bloody person in a doorway, apparently due to stab wounds, for which several patrols have come and found a man, around 40 years old, on the floor of the portal, and a woman, about 30 years old, at his side and trying to plug the wounds.
Although an ambulance has been called, the health services have arrived when the man had already died, apparently a partner of his alleged attacker, with whom he apparently had a daughter, although they did not live together in the property.
The agents have arrested the woman, who is already in the premises of the Pamplona Municipal Police and will probably go to court tomorrow, Thursday or Friday.
The street, closed several hours
During the hours after the event, dozens of people have approached the vicinity of the portal to ask what had happened. The street has remained closed to pedestrians and even the residents of the block have had access to their home closed, which they could only reach through the garage door.
The portal has two entrances, the Parque de los Enamorados and the Bernardino Tirapu, both entrances guarded by the Police and covered by two screens.
The judicial police and the Municipal Police of Pamplona have been in the place until the removal of the body has been ordered and it has been transferred in a van from Tanatorios Irache at 5:45 p.m., at which time the cleaning has proceeded of the portal.
