London, (EFE).- The President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, and the British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, discussed on Thursday the importance of closing an agreement on Gibraltar’s relationship with the European Union “as soon as possible” (EU) after Brexit.
Both leaders “agreed on the importance of advancing in the negotiations towards a treaty between the United Kingdom and the EU,” a spokesman for Downing Street, the official residence of the British head of government, said after that telephone conversation.
Sánchez and Sunak also spoke about the bilateral collaboration between Madrid and London in areas such as the economy, security and immigration.
