Valencia (EFE).- The Compromís candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat, Joan Baldoví (Swedish, Valencia, 1958), explains to EFE that he is very active on Twitter but is now discovering TikTok, which has covered 22,000 kilometers in the pre-campaign , and that he would like a world-wide success series to be filmed in the Valencian Community.
Baldoví makes his debut in the elections on May 28 as a candidate for the Presidency of the Generalitat for Compromís, replacing Mónica Oltra and after thirteen years as a national deputy in Congress, with the challenge that this formation once again be decisive in a third progressive coalition government.
QUESTION: Define the Valencian Community in one sentence
ANSWER: A country of 5 million people that has improved a lot in recent years, but in which there is still much to improve.
Q: If you win and become regional president, your first step would be…
A: Face the problem of the lack of regional financing. He would call Pedro Sánchez to demand a monographic meeting on the problems that the financing system brings us, and he would create a legal team of the highest level to claim it in court.
I will always prefer the path of dialogue, but if it is not possible, we will go to court because Valencian men and women deserve to have the same rights as the rest of the citizens. Our education, health or housing policies depend on this issue.
Q: Three words with which you would like to define your community at the end of your term.
A: Fair. Sustainable. prosperous.
Q: What series would you like to see filmed in the Region?
A: A series that is successful all over the world but that serves to give work to the Valencian audiovisual sector. A sector that is full of talent and that should be an engine for job creation, but also for the projection of our landscapes and our culture.
Q: Are you an active person on social networks? Which do you prefer?
A: I am quite active on Twitter, but lately I am discovering TikTok where there are real gems like the profile of the mayor of Valencia, Joan Ribó.
Q: What is your favorite part of the campaign? What are you most looking forward to these weeks?
A: Talk to people before and after the acts. The truth is that it is something that I usually do also outside of the campaign, but these days the agenda intensifies and gives you the opportunity to visit all corners of our territory and meet very diverse people. In just a few weeks I have already visited more than 110 municipalities and traveled 22,000 kilometers.
The entry Baldoví (Compromís): I am discovering TikTok, where there are authentic jewels was first published in EFE Noticias.
