Valencia (EFE).- The Ciudadanos candidate for mayor of Valencia, Fernando Giner (Valencia, 1964), explains to EFE that he would like a biographical series about the singer Nino Bravo to be filmed in this city, who enjoys stories of Instagram and that the first thing he would do if he were mayor would be to ‘remove rats’.
Giner appears for the third time as the head of the list of the orange formation, which four years ago obtained six councilors (one of whom has left the party and is on the PP lists) and now faces poor demoscopic prospects with a candidacy that includes representatives of different groups.
QUESTION: Define your city in one sentence.
ANSWER: The best city to live.
first measure
Q: If you win and become mayor your first move would be…
R: De-ratize the city -in the broadest sense of the term-, eliminate subsidies for pan-Catalanism and promote a great pact for affordable rent, to shield housing policies and give all Valencians an opportunity to have a life project , especially the young.
Q: Three words with which you would like to define your city at the end of your term.
A: Comfortable, open and diverse.
Q: What series would you like to see filmed in your city?
A: The Nino Bravo biopic, because he is as illustrious a Valencian as Sorolla, Benlliure or Blasco Ibáñez, and he deserves to have his life told for the general public. Nino Bravo is as much a heritage of Valencia as the Torres de Serranos, the Lonja or any other tangible asset.
Networks
Q: Are you an active person on social networks? Which do you prefer?
A: Moderately, although what I enjoy the most is with Instagram stories, because it is the most natural and spontaneous channel of communication.
Q: What is your favorite part of the campaign? What are you most looking forward to these weeks?
A: Contact with people, sharing the great project I have for this city and showing the great team that accompanies me.
