Pamplona (EFE).- The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has announced the forthcoming approval by the Council of Ministers of 1,300 million euros “to further strengthen Vocational Training in our country”, convinced that “the future is in education and management experience where we govern”.
He said this at a pre-election event in Pamplona as PSOE General Secretary, where he was convinced that in order to reduce unemployment, especially among young people, “we must strengthen education, the university, but fundamentally Vocational Training and align it with that change in production model”.
In this context, it has announced that in the next Council of Ministers, 1,300 million euros will be approved to reinforce vocational training in Spain, which will be used to increase to 45,000 bilingual Vocational Training places, to install 824 more digital training centers, and 1,500 classrooms. of technology and entrepreneurship.
Housing, a right and not a hit
At the Baluarte Conference Center, Pedro Sánchez has defended the “paradigm change” that the new Housing Law will entail in Spain, which “seeks to turn the housing problem into a right” and contrasts with the Land Law approved by the PP 25 years ago he “was only looking for the urban hit”.
“Reforming is not cutting back, it is not attacking the social majority, it is not causing pain. To reform is to dignify and that is why we have dignified the Minimum Interprofessional Wage or working conditions, and we are going to do the same with the Housing Law: dignify young people’s access to housing in our country”, he stressed to recall the rehabilitation of hundreds of thousands of houses carried out and confess his “outrage that Spain is in the queue in subsidized housing in Europe”.
After the announcement of the forthcoming approval by the Council of Ministers of 1,300 million euros “to further strengthen Vocational Training in our country”, it has also advanced its intention to support public health, with the renovation of Care Centers Primary.
The PP and Vox make “climate denialism”
On the Day of the Rose of the PSN, in which he has supported the Navarrese socialist candidates, Sánchez has also referred to the controversy over Doñana, a space that he has asked to protect for its value, but on which “the denialism of the PP and Vox is leading us to see how the country’s reputation is being damaged before community institutions”.
“The PP and Vox are the two sides of the same coin, climate denialism”, he concluded to ask in this regard for “institutional loyalty” to the different regional administrations with the State “if we want to manage water equitably and efficiently” .
Chivite, to win in Navarra
Shortly before, the candidate to reissue the presidency of Navarra, María Chivite, had intervened, who has assured that the PSN is “in a position to win the elections” and with this “we will have a better government because the socialist party will be stronger”, he said after defining “equality, solidarity and social justice” as the identity of the socialists.
“This is our moment”, she said convinced after defending the baggage of this legislature, such as the deployment of digital coverage, the construction of an attractive innovation ecosystem, the promotion of infrastructures, the commitment to Dual Vocational Training or the reduction of school dropout, with “agreements always for the benefit of the citizens of Navarra to whom we owe ourselves.”
With the polls that “indicate a divided right, fought internally”, Chivite has predicted that the UPN will be “the UPN president with the least votes” because “they have no project or leadership”, compared to the socialist model that “combines economic growth and cohesion social, that works for coexistence and sees in the plurality of our land a wealth and not a problem”.
With this, it has advanced “four challenges” for this next legislature, which include a Reindustrialization Plan, the reform of Primary Care, the commitment to subsidized housing up to 15,000 in 2027, and the construction of the Second phase of the Canal of Navarra and the connection of the TAV with Europe.
Elma Saiz, for recovering “tolerance” in Pamplona
For her part, the candidate for mayor of Pamplona, Elma Saiz, after almost 4 years as Minister of Economy and Finance, “the most intense of my life”, has shown her desire to “recover the spirit of Julián Balduz (socialist mayor in the transition), which made Pamplona modern and tolerant”, in a message of special interest when the coalition of UPN, PP and Ciudadanos has governed in this legislature, so the city “does not deserve to continue wrapped in an intolerant past ”.
“UPN equals controversy and paralysis”, she said, convinced that “they are afraid of the real change that we socialists represent in Pamplona”, while presenting as priorities of her actions “equality policies, the eradication of violence of gender and also the economic projection of Pamplona”. “I have come without ties and with enthusiasm, I have come to win to be the mayoress of all and all”, Saiz concluded.
