Brussels (EFE).- The Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, affirmed this Thursday that the Member States of the Alliance and the partner countries have delivered to Ukraine “more than 98%” of the combat vehicles that they had promised to deal with the Russian invasion of the former Soviet republic.
“NATO allies and partners have provided Ukraine with unprecedented support. More than 98% of the combat vehicles promised to Ukraine have already been delivered, ”Stoltenberg declared at a press conference together with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Xavier Bettel, with whom he met today in Brussels.
The Norwegian politician explained that the percentage translates into “more than 1,500 armored vehicles, 230 tanks and other equipment, including large amounts of ammunition.”
