Madrid (EFE) 37 points, practically the same as that of those who do not indicate either of the two options, 6.32 points.
According to data provided to EFE by the Tax Agency and by the Treasury departments of the Basque territories and Navarra, in a period of 10 years the proportion of Spaniards who choose to check both boxes at the same time instead of opting only for the Church or by NGOs.
But there are also more who deliver their statement without taking advantage of any of these possibilities.
A circumstance this last one that does not have a clear explanation but that, according to the Navarrese Foral Treasury and the Spanish Episcopal Conference, may be due to the fact that many taxpayers accept their draft of the Income without reviewing that it comes, logically, with the blank boxes or that part of the managers that are in charge of completing the declarations leave them unfilled.
Specifically, between 2010 and 2020 the proportion of taxpayers who put the X only in the Church box decreased by 10.93 percentage points and by 2.28 that of those who preferred their contribution to go exclusively to NGOs.
