Logroño, (EFE).- Relatives of one of the two minor victims of the sexual assault in Logroño have filed a complaint with the Civil Guard after receiving death threats from those around the alleged aggressors, sources confirmed to EFE on Monday Of the investigation.
The complaint for these events, made through social networks, has been referred by the Civil Guard to the National Police, which is in charge of investigating the group sexual assault against two girls aged 12 and 13, which occurred on 9 of April.
The events investigated occurred in a storage room of a portal located on Avenida de Navarra, in the capital of La Rioja, where the two girls went after being summoned through Instagram and where they were sexually assaulted by several minors.
Last Tuesday, April 11, the National Police arrested five minors between the ages of 14 and 17 as alleged perpetrators of this sexual assault; while two other 13-year-olds remained under the guardianship of their parents.
The five detained adolescents appeared before the Prosecutor’s Office and the Juvenile Judge, who determined on Wednesday the 12th the closed confinement in the Valvanera de Logroño Juvenile Center for two of them. and for the other three, a restraining order and prohibition to communicate with the victims.
The following day, the judge also ordered the internment in a closed regime for another two of these last three, after being recognized by the victims. EFE
The president of the TSJR has insisted that the purpose of the agreed measures towards the alleged aggressors is, “rather than repression, protective and protective of minors, reform, resocialization and re-education”. EFE
