Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (EFE).- Hidramar Gran Canaria won this Sunday 3-0 against Cajasol Vóley Dos Hermanas in the third match of the Iberdrola League semifinal, with which they will play Tenerife Libby’s for the title La Laguna, in a reissue of last season’s final.
The third clash between the Sevillian team and the Gran Canaria team began evenly this Sunday in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; however, the local players gained an advantage that was very difficult for the rivals to recover (13-8) and left the first set at home by a comfortable 25-13 (1-0).
The second set followed the same dynamic of equality as the first during the first minutes (10-10) but the Gran Canarias once again imposed their game to also win the second set 25-19 (2-0).
The third and last match for the tiebreaker in the semifinal fight for the title leaned towards the Gran Canarias, who also dominated the third set.
CV Hidramar Gran Canaria took a wide advantage in just a few minutes (13-9). On this occasion, the Sevillanas recovered (17-19) but could not stop the local players, who won the set 25-19 and the game by fast track 3-0.
The final of the Iberdrola League, between CV Hidramar Gran Canaria and CV Tenerife Libby’s La Laguna, which beat Avarca de Menorca in the semifinals, will begin next weekend, Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 April, in Las Palmas from Gran Canaria.
In 2022, the title was won by Tenerife Libby’s in four games, after beating Gran Canaria in the first two games, played in Las Palmas, and losing only the third, in La Laguna. EFE
