Vega de Pas (EFE) his trial, “the clock stopped” for communications when Íñigo de la Serna ceased to be a minister.
Feijóo has transferred those words after recalling the “unfortunate anecdote for which Cantabria has been known”, in relation to the project that has to be modified by Renfe for the new metric gauge suburban trains of the autonomous community and Asturias.
In an act in Vega de Pas, which began with the intervention of its current mayor and PP candidate for re-election, Juan Carlos García, Feijóo shares a popular meal this Saturday with the residents of that town and with leaders of his party, among they the president of the Cantabrian PP and candidate for the Presidency, María José Sáenz de Buruaga.
He has said of her that she will be the first woman president of Cantabria and has also thanked for having gone to Vega de Pas with whom he has described as “the best mayoress in Spain”, the Santander councilor and candidate for re-election for the PP, Gema Igual .
Before arriving in Vega de Pas, Feijóo has walked through Santander with Gema Igual and has held a meeting with her, in which they have talked about the projects for the city and the “abandonment and neglect of the PSOE and the PRC” towards the city, as reported in a statement by the PP of the Cantabrian capital.
The president of the PP has also mentioned the situation of the electro-intensive industry and that which has been generated for livestock with the new protection from the wolf and for some companies with the Coastal Law.
Alberto Núñez Feijóo has considered that the central government acts with “contempt” in these cases of which he has spoken, and “without listening” and has added that this creates situations “incompatible” with the lives of thousands of citizens.
For this reason, he has cited the situation of the infrastructures, which he has reiterated that they stopped in 2018 when Íñigo de la Serna ceased to be Minister of Development, who was also present at this act of the PP of Cantabria in Vega de Pas.
Buruaga’s motto: “Wake up Cantabria!”
María José Sáenz de Buruaga has thanked Feijóo for having restored “hope” to Cantabria, a community that has lamented that it “is asleep” for years of “revillismo” and in which she has predicted that the popular ones are going to “sweep away”.
“Revillismo has not brought anything good to Cantabria”, asserted Buruaga, who has denounced that the “populism” of the regional president and PRC candidate for re-election, Miguel Ángel Revilla, seeks to distract the Cantabrians with “false promises”. “Revillismo is that, a long electoral campaign,” he added.
He has urged the Cantabrians to “wake up” and recover their pride. “In May it will be the change in Cantabria and in December in Spain”, the president of the popular Cantabrians has abounded.
And, for this reason, the slogan of his campaign will be “Despierta Cantabria”, a petition that he launched this Saturday in Vega de Pas before the nearly 2,000 people, according to the organization, who have supported the PP in this act.
Buruaga has advanced some of his government commitments such as lowering personal income tax for medium and low incomes and “unblocking” the administration to facilitate procedures, especially in the rural world.
In addition, he has assured that he will do “whatever it takes” so that the farmer “is not seen as an endangered species” and has promised with the support of Núñez Feijóo in La Moncloa to remove the wolf from the list of species of special protection .
The mayor of Vega de Pas has assured that he will “never” forget this day and has thanked Feijóo for his presence in a rural town like Vega de Pas.
