Madrid, Apr 14 (EFE).- The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts for Friday cloudy or covered skies with precipitation in Galicia, Cantabria, Ampurdán, lower Ebro and the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals in the northern half of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and little cloudy in the rest, while the maximum temperatures will rise.
In the Canary Islands, cloudy intervals in the north of the islands, and little cloudiness in the south.
The snow level will be between 1,000 and 1,200 meters in the Pyrenees, although it will rise to 1,500/1,800, and 1,500 meters in the Cantabrian mountain range, where it will rise to 2,000.
The maximum temperatures will rise in an almost general way in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, and will tend to drop in the Canary Islands; the minimums will descend in the south of the peninsular Mediterranean area, will rise in the northwestern half of the peninsula, and will leave frosts in the Pyrenees.
Strong intervals will blow on the north coast of Galicia, Cantabria, Ampurdán and Bajo Ebro, and there will be a predominance of west and northwest directions on the Peninsula except in the southeast and the Balearic Islands, where it will be variable; in the Canary Islands, trade winds from the northeast, with strong intervals at dawn.

-ASTURIAS: cloudy sky with showers that will tend to subside in the afternoon, with probable mists or scattered mists in high areas of the Cordillera. Rising temperatures, notable in the southeast. Wind from west and southwest directions, more intense on the coast and with the probability of very strong gusts in exposed areas of the coast and the Cordillera.
-CANTABRIA: skies covered with rain, less frequent and intense in the extreme south, and probable mists or scattered fogs in high areas of the interior. Rising temperatures, notable in the lows of the southwest. Wind from west and southwest directions, more intense on the coast, and with the probability of very strong gusts on the coast and in exposed areas of the Cordillera.
-BASQUE COUNTRY: cloudy sky with rain, less intense to the south, and probable mists or scattered mists in high inland areas. Rising temperatures, which may be noticeable in the southwest minimum. Wind from west and southwest directions, more intense on the coast and with the possibility of very strong gusts in exposed areas of the Vizcaya coast.
-CASTILLA Y LEÓN: cloudy with light rainfall, less likely in the southwest and more frequent in the mountainous north; in the second half of the day there will tend to be transient clearings and the rains will disperse, except in the extreme northeast where they will persist. Snow level from 1,300 to 1,600 meters, although it will rise during the day from 1,800 to 2,100 meters.
Rising temperatures. Wind from southwest to west and northwest directions, with strong gusts, and locally very strong in mountain areas.
-NAVARRE: cloudy skies, with clear skies in the south at the end of the afternoon, in addition to possible mists or scattered fogs in high areas of the northern half; showers in the northern half that will spread to the south with less intensity.
Rising temperatures, notable in the northern highs. Variable light wind that will tend to the northwest in the afternoon, with more intense intervals in the central hours.
-LA RIOJA: cloudy with occasional rainfall, although transient clearings will open up in the second half of the day. Snow level from 1,400 to 1,600 meters, but it will rise to 2,000. Rising temperatures. Southwest or variable direction wind, with strong gusts.
-ARAGÓN: cloudy with rainfall in the Pyrenees, preferably in the western sector and in the divide, and with a snow level that will rise from 1,000-1,200 meters to about 1,800; in the rest, cloudy intervals, more abundant during the central hours, and weak rainfall, more likely in Cinco Villas and La Ibérica.
Rising temperatures, although with weak frosts in points of the Pyrenees and Iberian Teruel. Light to moderate wind from west and northwest directions, with some strong intervals in the afternoon.
-CATALONIA: cloudy sky in the Pyrenees and cloudy intervals in the rest, which will be more abundant during the central hours; rainfall on the northern slope of the Pyrenees which in the afternoon will be probable in the rest of the northern third, and without being ruled out in isolation in inland areas of the western half. The snow level will rise from 1,000-1,200 meters to about 1,800.
Minimum temperatures unchanged or rising, with weak frosts in points of the Pyrenees; rising highs, especially in the interior. Wind from west and northwest directions, although on the coasts it will tend to south and southwest from noon; it will increase from weak to moderate with some strong intervals in the afternoon, and with very strong gusts at the end in the Pyrenees and areas of the southern half.
-EXTREMADURA: cloudy intervals in the north, without ruling out weak rainfall in mountain areas and with the possibility of snow above 1,700 to 2,100 meters; in the rest little cloudy with medium and high clouds. Rising temperatures, light in the minimum. Northwest direction wind.
-MADRID: cloudy in the Sierra, without ruling out a weak shower in the afternoon; in the rest, cloudy intervals of medium and high clouds. Rising temperatures, somewhat milder in the south and weak frosts on the peaks. Light northwesterly wind that will increase to moderate with probable strong gusts in high areas of the Sierra in the afternoon.
-CASTILLA – LA MANCHA: cloudy in the northeast without ruling out some weak precipitation; in the rest, slightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds. Minimum temperatures on the rise in Guadalajara, on the decline in Albacete and with little change in the rest; they will leave scattered frosts on northeastern peaks; rising maximums, notable in areas of La Mancha. Loose wind from northwest and west directions with more intense intervals, especially in the east in the afternoon.
-VALENCIA COMMUNITY: sky with intervals of medium and high clouds, more abundant in the northern half during central hours; in the interior of Castellón in the afternoon weak and scattered precipitations are not ruled out. Minimum temperatures slightly rising in the northern third and slightly falling or unchanged in the rest; rising highs, especially in the interior. On the coast, variable light wind that at noon will tend to moderate from the south component; inland, light to moderate wind from the west component.
-MURCIA: slightly cloudy with intervals of high clouds; low clouds and mists or morning mists in the Campo de Cartagena.
