Motril (Granada) (EFE).- The elite athlete, mountaineer and climber Beatriz Flamini has left this Friday the cave in which she has remained alone for 500 days at a depth of 70 meters, thus fulfilling the challenge she set for herself when she decided to live this personal challenge, which he has defined as “excellent and insurmountable”.
With the help of members of the Motril Speleological Activities Group, the coastal town of Granada where the cave is located, Flamini emerged minutes after 9:00 a.m. in apparent good health, wearing sunglasses to protect his eyes. and a wide smile from the underground refuge that has been his home for the more than sixteen months that the experiment has lasted, with which he has also broken a world record.
During all this time, she has been leaving the video cards she recorded in the exchange area of the cave scheduled with the speleologists, where food delivery and garbage removal also took place without any communication.
