Madrid, April 8 (EFE).- Three people have been slightly injured due to a gas explosion that occurred this Saturday in the municipality of Villaconejos.
As indicated by Madrid 112 Emergencies, the Summa112 has had to attend to an 11-year-old girl, who has been discharged in the place, and her grandparents, a 73-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, who have suffered burns first degree on the face and hands and has been transferred to the Getafe hospital with a mild prognosis.
112 received the first notice at 10:50 a.m., and the minor and her grandparents were already outside the house when the firefighters from the Community of Madrid arrived.
The explosion occurred in the basement of a three-story house and was “very violent”, affecting the entire property and knocking down the interior partition.
However, there has been no fire after the explosion and the structure of the building has not been damaged either.
Several parked vehicles have also been affected in the vicinity of the property.
The Civil Guard has been in charge of the investigations into the reasons that have led to the explosion.
