Mexico City (EFE).- The Spanish singer Rosalía revolutionized the Mexican capital this Sunday with a powerful concert, in which she combined hits like “Chicken Teriyaki” and “Bizcochito” with her new proposals together with her partner, the Puerto Rican Rauw Alejandro, during their participation in the AX Ceremony festival.
Just less than a year after visiting the country with the successful Motomami World Tour, Rosalía acted as the headliner of the festival, held in Mexico City’s Bicentennial Park, in front of more than 50,000 spectators.
The Spanish artist appeared on stage after 11:00 p.m. (05:00 GMT) with “Saoko”, and later she launched into interpreting some of her best-known songs such as “Motomami”, “La noche de anoche” or “Hentai”.
The public was delivered from the first moment and did not stop chanting any of the songs.
Rosalía, visibly moved, appreciated the displays of affection by waving a Mexican flag and sharing the microphone with the spectators in the front rows.
“I have not seen anything like it in my life,” commented one of the attendees in the middle of the concert.
For an hour and a quarter, Rosalía dazzled with an overwhelming visual spectacle in which she sang, played the piano and danced without rest.
By the end of the evening, he left the songs that are part of the joint EP with Alejandro, “RR”, recently published.
This year’s edition of the AX Ceremony also hosted concerts by Jamie XX, MIA, Julieta Venegas and Trueno, among others.
